While shopping I noticed that Walgreens has Dry Idea Deodorant on Mega Saver BOGO Free until the end of September.    Well, I still had a few BOGO Coupons left from a few weeks ago when I was unable to use them.    When I got up to the cosmetic check out counter {and my favorite cashier} I told her all about what happened a few weeks ago and told her about Walgreens New Corporate Coupon Policy {which she had yet to even hear of…a week after it was posted on Walgreens site!}, and that it was fine if she wanted to call the manager.

I whipped out the coupon policy that I print out and waited for the manager.   She came over and my cashier explained what I was wanting to do with my coupons, the manager huffed and said that it was against Walgreens Corporate Policy, but I showed her the policy I printed online and her entire demeanor changed.  She took the policy and was back in less than five minutes apologizing and telling me it was perfectly fine for me to use my coupons.

I have to admit, I felt rather avenged holding that policy in my hands and showing her proof that I could use a BOGO Coupon with their BOGO Sale.  She would not have left me use those coupons had I not had the policy with me…so make sure to print Walgreens Corporate Coupon Policy out and carry it with you when you shop.  You never know when you’ll need it! :)
