Menu planning is easy and very adaptable. There are no ‘one fits all’ menu plans, it is adaptable to fit my family or to easily fit the needs of your family. For some reason whenever I tell this to people they shy away and ignore menu planning because they say they either do not have the time or they are more free spirited whenever it comes to cooking meals and prefer to make meals spur of the moment.
While spur of the moment meals are all well and good, it can be one of the more stressful ways to cook. You will not know if you have all of the ingredients on hand and, if you do not it will most likely result in either dining out that night or running to the store in order to purchase the required ingredients.
Menu planning is actually a very simple process. It doesn’t take hours, it doesn’t take a lot of effort, and it will save you money. It will also save you time..and who doesn’t need more time?
Menu planning is simply having plan that will fit you and your family. It can easily change with your family to fit your current needs in whatever season of life you are in. There is no right or wrong way to menu plan.
