I didnt get to get this information before leaving but the clerk tried to explain. You did a much better job but they were very accomodating.

Next time she said to go to the cosmetic counter to purchase things with lots of coupons. That way they can take the time to help answer questions and explain things more clearly and go thru the coupons.

I bought three kotex product…each one was 2.50 and I had a $1.00 coupon. So I made 3 cents.LOL She had me perchase three different transactions. I told her I did have to do that if it wasnt ok. She said no they are ok with that. Just the computer wont advance you the RR if its already been activated.

So I got three Kotex supplies..three month of supplies for FREE. Three cents towards other purchases.

John Frieda Katie and I both had a 2.50 coupon and I used hers and mine on two purchases. So it was 6 JF products, shampoo, conditioner and hair spray 3/15 take away the $5 from the two coupons and got 5 in RR so like I got the product for 1.6? each. Woohoohoo! Were set for the year on that…and three months for the Kotex. I cant wait to stock up and not have to lug around two carts..LOL

WE did the candy. I had a $1.00 off plus the smaller bags I got 4@ 2/5 and had a coupon for three bags for $1 off. Plus I get a movie ticket for buying 4 bags. I have managed to get two tickets…one from WG and one from KROGER. This week. Plus now I have plenty of candy for the movies and two game nights!

Im seeing the pattern that when we first get the coupone that week they give a good deal but a lot of time the next week can even be a bigger deal. I havent went into trying to figure it all out but I am trying to start a list of what I pay the lowest for each product and where. Trying to also figure out when the best deals of the month are…and what products are the best price for each product. Cheese is usually a good buy at Target. But they have really been high this week on alot of the specials…But I didnt look at the gift cards so maybe they are on there. I am so getting deals now I feel cheated if I have to pay full price and Im not to happy how much work it is to figure out all this.

Brads taking Zyrtec and they had a sale but I checked the walgreen brand and snagged a years supply for the price of 6 weeks of Zyrtec. Its just amazing how much work you have to do and how many different bottles there are. UGH!

In clearance they had colgate tooth brushes for $1. So I got 4. And double large packs of dental floss was $3.99 got it for .99.

I saved 38.00 today and got $17.00 back in RR.
I will hold onto them for my next trip and only buy the lowest price things and add coupons. I assume I cannot use the RR on anything that gets a RR. But I will look at your article again and see if I can figure out the next trip and how my RR will work with the next purchases. Wondering if I will get any RR on a trip using rr or I have to only shop for things without rr and then return for a rr trip? I was a little stressed when they gave me the total. When its all said and done…without the meds and adding the RR I would have spent only 28.00 so I think I did good. In a few months when I dont have to buy much more than meat, milk, bread and a few fruits and veggies we dont grow…and a box of cereal or something. And we have our own egg factory….so It will pay off this year! Im just not good documenting like you but Im trying to not let this consume me. That is where a sharp young mind would come in handy right now. Thanks for helping me. And If I can send you extras on coupon or anything let me know. And if you make that list of items and I get them with long expiration dates Ill send them to ya. In order to get your RR’s you’ll have to purchase all three Kotex package separately. If you purchase all three at once you’ll only receive 1 RR. Also, Walgreens does not give money back so you’ll need to purchase something else in order to absorb the overage. A good idea for that is to purchase what we call a filler item – such as a $0.17 candle or something cheap. Look in your clearance section.

Oh, and you cannot purchase 1 Kotex and then turn around and use that RR in order to purchase another Kotex. Their RR’s do not roll — meaning that Wags register will know you’ve already gotten the deal and the next RR will not print. The best thing to do is build up your RR’s in order to roll them.
