There doesn’t seem to be a true rhyme or reason towards a coupon policy at Naifeh’s, but, after shopping there for over a year, here are a few of my tips to help your shopping trips go more smoothly.
Weekly Sales Ads
Always check out Naifeh’s weekly sales ad or our weekly Naifeh’s Coupon Match Up in order to see what the best deals are. While Naifeh’s does not always have the greatest deals, they more often then not, have better sales on meats then Kroger or other local stores.
Manufacturer & Printable Coupons
Naifeh’s accepts coupons and doubles any coupons $0.50 or less every day.
They do except printable coupons, but every single time I have used printable coupons the cashier has called a manager over to authorize them. And Naifeh’s registers will never actually scan the printable coupons bar code.
While I have never had a manager deny my printable coupons, this has made me less likely to use them at Naifeh’s due to time vs. savings. So, you may want to make sure the sale + coupon is worth your time to wait for the manager. In truth, I have never waited more than five minutes for a managers approval.
They do NOT accept printable coupons for free items.
Scanning Coupons
If a coupon does not scan (either a manufacturers coupon from the Sunday paper or a printable coupon) and the cashier has to manually type it in make sure to watch that your total goes down. I have arrived home from a trip at Naifeh’s before only to find that when I thought they were subtracting $1.50 from my total the cashier added a $1.50! Make sure to watch which way your total goes when a cashier manually enters any coupons.
Manager Specials
As with Kroger, my husband and I love to look for manager specials when shopping at Naifeh’s. While theirs is not as abundant at the selection at Kroger, they often have at least a few things that I would consider purchasing. I look for these mainly in the meat and produce sections.
